This year has been off to an interesting start. Mid-January I was well-enough rested and then one project required so many rewrites that I’m just now finishing it up. The deadline was January 31st.
In February a couple people gave me shirts (the top two images on the right). Aren’t they great? The second one completely feeds my egotistical… well… ego.
The third image is a book that someone sent me for my birthday. It was great to read and made me want to go out and practice aerobatic flights. If only it were legal and parachutes were not quite so expensive to maintain.
Thank you all.

I wish people would just trust me to get them done when it’s the right time for them to have used that amount of my time based on the value of their project…oh I guess the second shirt might apply to me as well.

Yeah, the idea of deadlines is quite bizarre but it is one that we currently base our society on. I am always amused by those who take to Scripture and claim we do not respect other peoples’ time enough. Jesus was three days late for a funeral. Elijah showed up after Saul had already sacrificed. A man’s heart deviseth his way… ^_^

...that’s what makes it okay to do it on our own schedule (and the reason Jesus and Elijah were justified). Now if we could just figure out how to convince people we have the same level of information. Hmm, not sure I want the retribution, however, when it’s shown to be all smoke and no fire.

Smoke is bad to blow, whether or not there is a fire.
